John F. Kelly, the Marine That Dislikes Brown People, Arab or Hispanic

Formerly the Secretary of Homeland Security
The Chief of Staff is the highest-ranking staff member within the White House, and is considered the President of the United States’ personal secretary. The office was forerly called the Assistant to the President from 1946 to 1961.
Former U.S. Marine John F. Kelly was recently sworn in as the Department of Homeland Security’s fifth secretary under the leadership of President Donald Trump, but was moved into the Chief of Staff position after Reince Priebus was released from the post.
John Kelly is a blunt-spoken Boston native. He had hitch-hiked across the country at 16 years old and rode in a freight train from Seattle to Chicago.
At 18, he signed up with the Marine Corps in 1970 and was discharged two years later. He graduated in 1984 with a degree in National Security Studies. He served in Iraq and was nominated for major general in 2007.
In 2010, Kelly lost his eldest son from stepping on a land mine while leading a platoon of Marines in Afghanistan. His other son is also a Marine and is still does tours.
In 2014, he helped dialog in the exchange of an Army sergeant for five Taliban prisoners. Speaking of Guantanamo Bay, he is very against it (and other black sites) closing.
In a 2014 speech, Kelly claimed that “the enemy is dedicated to our destruction,” though specifics are speculative. He’s been with the Marine Corps. for over 45 years, having retired in 2016.
Kelly has been out-spoken about his views about Central and South America, sounding an alarm about drugs and terrorism that supposedly comes from south of the border. The $15 billion Mexico-American border wall will probably be overseen by him.
He also talks strong about his opposition to the “savage” enemy in the Middle East and leans Zionist/Israel-supportive. This also holds hands with Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric. Kelly is known to support torture, and calls activists who oppose abusing captured combatants “foolish.”
However, in all fairness, he feels that some Muslims are necessary to befriend in order to advance your broader agenda.
Even though he is married, he is very against women serving in high positions and combat units such as the Navy SEALs. “Why aren’t they staying in other roles?” he once asked reporters at the Pentagon.
He seems not to be against overthrowing people he doesn’t agree with, even if they were elected. Strangely, he is both praised by Republicans and Democrats alike. Kelly actually served through the Obama administration. He never openly endorsed Trump.
However, Democrat Senator Kamala Harris of California says that John Kelly has a “failure to provide assurances.”
He is considered to be “thoughtful” and “pragmatic.” In a 2015 speech, Kelly said, “In a democracy, you salute. You suck it up.”
However, Adam Isacson at the Washington Office on Latin America says the concern about terrorism and human/drug trafficking being linked to immigration is just a way to scare Congress and get more funding released.
And with a guy like Kelly twice being vice chairman of the Spectrum Group — a military lobby group — I’m sure funding will flow like an endless river.
Trump has been criticized for surrounding himself with people either from the business realm or from the military realm — and not enough politicians. Other war and military personnel would include James Mattis, Michael Flynn, and David Petraeus.
